Room 7 were immediately interested in finding out the results of our Reader Survey. After recapping the ground rules for talk, we looked at the graphs. These two were the ones that generated the most discussion.
Geo wondered if our readers don't live near a library. Two other students mentioned that their parents have library cards, but they don't. This was a good time to remind them that not only do we have a school library, but a class one as well. Elise thought it would be nice if we took a trip as a class to our local Panmure Library. The others enthusiastically replied that they too would like to go and see a public library.
I'm going to bring this up at the next staff meeting and see whether we could take the class, or potentially R6 as well, along King's Rd to the public library. There is a great mural along the way which would really make it worthwhile.
